Not a fan of the quote button

Its understandable as to why it was implemented, but I find that the manner its been implemented is rather.... half baked? The same can be achieved by just directly @-ing someone else rather than having to take the time to:

1. hover over to the dropdown (Or press and hold if on mobile when it gets ported)

2. find the button you need to press

3. Possibly edit the quote and have to type up the message anyways.

By which point the conversation on fast-paced servers could have moved on, the question could have been answered, or it just straight up annoys people who don't want to be pinged for every reply they get!

my biggest peeves with this is that this invites a lot of mindless pinging, which annoys the hell out of me and many others (and I already have sounds off just because of this.), and the placement of the button is incredibly inconvenient and causing the message dropdown to start to become cluttered.
