Mobile mutes video call after opening an external link

Heya, guys!

Whenever I open a link on my iPad Discord app during a video call, the app kind of stays on the background while the link opens on Safari, Youtube, or whatever. 2 things tend to happen:

1 - Call drops and returns in a second

2 - Call is then mute and both sides have to disconnect and connect back again for it to go back to normal.

Any ideas on what is causing this?
