Security
I've been hearing that someone could DM you asking to scan a QR code, I've heard that if you do, they could potentially steal your account. I would absolutely love more security factors in Discord. I don't know what I necessarily want for security. What I do know is though, is that I'd like to there to be an option for this security protocol in settings. Where you can toggle it on and off. I'd like it to be something almost like 2FA. Something that will stop hackers for invading your account. So if you were to scan a code by accident, or forgetting that someone could take your account from this, that you'd feel more safe. Even with 2FA on that stuff is pretty scary to worry about. So I would very much enjoy a new level of security. Maybe like a password to get into DMs or your friends list. That way if anyone does get into your account somehow, they don't have access to everything, thanks!

Ok I'm going to debunk this one quickly. So discord recently added a QR code logging method on desktop, allowing you to sign in using your phone and this is what they are asking you to scan. Now if you *do* scan it, discord will confirm with you if you scanned in with your phone. But please just don't scan any random QR code. Discord can't prevent people from doing stupid things.
