QR Code Scams and how to prevent them

Probably you have heard about QR Code scams, if not then Ill leave you a little explanation of it.

QR Code Scams are QR Codes that if you scan them with your discord mobile app you could get your account stolen and given to other people.


If you get a Direct Message with a QR Code promising that it's for a giveaway for "nitro" or any stuff like that then block the user who sent you the QR Code.

If you own a server and someone posted a QR Code saying that if you scan it you could get "1 year nitro" then delete the post and ban the user quickly before anyone could scan it with their discord mobile app.

Please, spread the word to stop new victims to fall in the QR Code scam.

    On my account (this one) I was sent a QR scam by a friend after they got their account hacked and stolen causing the scam link to be sent to me. I didnt know that discord doesnt do QR nitro gifts. So my account got scammed but 2FA prevented the scam from getting into my account. But the link is still being sent my my friends. How do I stop the link from being sent?
