Permanent ID to be found/DMed with

I'll keep it short and quick:

I need a permanent way for people to be able to DM or find me on Discord which doesn't change if I change my username@tag. Ideally I would leave this information on a homepage/contact information and would not have to edit it until drastic changes happen.

So far the only way to find and DM a user is through the username@tag combination, which can be changed at any point, or through mutual servers, which is not ideal.

I am aware the userid/uid is permanent, however currently it is impossible to search users by their userid without third-party alternatives, and workarounds aren't self-explenatory. When I leave my information on a contact page, I do not want to include a tutorial on how to use it.

So with that note, I would like a self-explanatory way to contact users through a permanent ID. The ideal and on-the-nose option would be to be able to search users by their userid/uid.

@ctaetcsh While this certainly works, I personally believe it is a tedious workaround for something that could be very easily solved if it was possible to simply search users by their userid!

I appreciate the workaround a lot, though I would still like it if they included the option to search users by something permanent. Something self-explenatory.
