New UI is causing me problems
I use discord to talk to friends and schedule D&D campaigns. I don't need 1/3rd of my window covered up by an activity tracker that just shows information I could already see by looking at their usernames--and one that doesn't even seem to work, since I'm seeing two friends playing games and yet the Activity Tracker says nothing is happening.
Additionally, the "Online" filter isn't filtering out the offline people, just putting them at the bottom, which is a really big Why Do We Even Have That Button oversight. If someone is offline, I don't want to see their username, because the Direct Messages box already contains the conversations I'd add to even if they're offline.
Lastly, the new message and call buttons on the friends list slots are something I'd like to fade out when I'm not hovering over that friend--while I can see the utility of changing the default slot behavior to open the profile instead of the DM's, the extra buttons are just clutter.
Too many UI elements up at once makes it harder for ADHD people and us autistics to navigate your program, and aside from an intrusive Nitro button (Why is it in between social buttons??? Like, capitalism is obviously why it's here at all, but at least put it above the friends button so the relevant data stays contiguous), the change hasn't added anything to justify the clutter.
