The friends list layout; WE WILL NOT STAND FOR THIS

I made a thread a few days ago with a bunch of people replying, agreeing with the statement.

The new friend list UI is nothing short of a disgrace. It provides no improvement or pleasantness whatsoever, it is truly a step backwards in evolution.

And nothing has been done about it, not a single person from the discord development team has even said a peep about this. Do these people just not care about feedback? Do they just ignore those who say negative things about changes? That sure sounds like the case.

Did we not learn from the days of Skype, when Microsoft redesigned the UI so a lot of people stuck to pre-microsoft versions? Microsoft ended up ending support for that version, we tried to fight but our words did not phase those developers.

Discord at first seemed to be the most honest chat service. Now, it seems like they're going the route of skype; unnecessary UI changes without listening to feedback/backlash.

It's just a friends list, there is nothing really special at all with them. It's just a list, so you can't go wrong with a list. Although they should probably change the Online tab showing offline friends. Also don't a lot of these changes go through Canary first?
