Discord's new chat layout is terrible.

Please bring back the old design. The new layout is ugly and hard to look at. It is more compact than it was before. Nobody asked for it to be redesigned. I also hate how a message became darker when your mouse goes over it. Lastly, the recent three reaction list is useless.

  Agreed, I hate everything about it. The different new message indicator in Discord is bad too, and it's not even going away every time it's supposed to (i.e. when I tab back to Discord). At least give us the option to turn these things off.

  The bright and stubborn new messages indicator is definitely my least favorite of the changes, but the changes on hover are so much more distracting now, especially for someone who's constantly moving their mouse around multi-tasking.
  
  Would LOVE a way to disable this.

  i dont like it either, they can keep it, just as long as there is a way to TURN IT OFF!!!! its annoying and distracting! the recent emoji thing is also useless, and annoying i dont like it!

  This system is legitimately not the way I want to use Discord. At least add a switch.

  Grantawe draws a solid point to this. I'd rather NOT see an emoji block while I'm viewing messages.
