offline friends listed in "Online" tab
Why am I now seeing friends that are offline in the "online" tab? is this by design? and if so, someone needs to puff puff and most importantly *Pass*.... there is already an "all friends" tab that displays everyone.... be it that they are online or offline, looks like crap and is misleading. Most importantly though, who cares about the friends that are "Offline" when looking in the "Online" tab? In short, that there is broke... Also, I might add that the redundant "messages" button and "bullet point" buttons are... well redundant. All this is based on a Linux version of your app. Thanks for the great work with the Linux community, and I look forward to these issues being fixed/addressed.

I second this. I have family members on my friends list haven't spoken to through Discord in literal years. As well as other friends who are rarely on. And I don't need to see all those names. That was the point of using the online tab. Which is very much pointless now.

I agree and it's exactly the same in the windows version of the app.

Agree, it's annoying.

Its basically made the 'online' tab redundant. Its absolutely ridiculous.

If they want offline and online in the same tab then they should at least have a check box filter to show offline friends. I have no use in Online and All at this point if they do the same job. I hardly have ever even used the All tab for friends, if they aren't online then I'm likely not trying to talk to them at the time.

Not anymore! At least not for me...
Check for yourself. If it still IS the case go to settings -> "Privacy and Safety" and disable the option "Use data to improve discord". Did this in the Web-Version and immediately offline friends were gone!
Checked later in Desktop Version and yeah... only online friends... re-enabled it later and it stays the same... only online...

I don't know how to close this issue, but. Thanks to everyone at the Discord Team! Fastest I've seen a team fix an issue. Keep up the great work!
