DMs verses Group DMs

As you can no doubt tell they lump Group DMs with the singular direct ones. This can make things really annoying. So I propose they make it a section next to the normal DM area, a tab.

Also, dice as part of normal DMs, because how often do people make a game for a small group that doesn't warrant the huge complicated process of making a server, adding the bots and all that stuff?

Also, they store texts for archive, why not images and files sent?

I would LOVE an ability to hide my status from individuals if say, I need a time out. Yes, you can mute or block, but what if I don't wanna block? Going ninja for everyone is a pain in the hind parts.

Something else occurred to me. You know how the games thing had its own tiles and such? Why not do that for servers someone joined? Why not give servers a whole panel with descriptions as way of advertisements to gain more membership? Obviously some servers would want to stay less public, but for communities that thrive on open membership? Also, community spotlights, these could generate perks for communities and such. If games didn't pan out, why not throw more into the community aspect of discord, that is the purpose for the chat right?

It also means that under friends and nitro the 'community' page could be set and if someone gets pinged the red dot could still show up right on that section. Then, group dms could take the place of servers and be put into folders to use the empty space or direct DMs.

    A separate category for Group DMs is an epic idea. Super thumb is hitched and hiked vertically.

    TBH, the rest seems a little meaningless, IMO. Dice does sounds kinda cool tho.

    There are a lot of text base games and dnd things that go on with discord and when people are say, not home, having a dice roller baked into discord means that there isn't an external app used. There are a lot of things it can be used for revolving around that sphere of game type and it would just be a cool feature.
