Another post complaining about the UI changes

Changes that I've noticed that I dislike :
Most majorly, the spacing between messages is just horrible, after being used to it for hundreds if not thousands of hours this just hit me in the face and it hurts to look at, I really don't want to force myself to get used to this.
The pings, the way it highlights messages is worse in that encompasses the profile pictures and names of people, please limit it to just the message, again, used to it and it didn't need to be changed, pings were easily seen.
The highlighted messages - I use my mouse, and having all those messages highlight is bothersome, as is the three emotes - one of them I don't even use that much, and making it half a second quicker is not worth having the annoying banner. 

Please revert or allow a setting for users to toggle between these modes as I really don't want to use Discord as it is right now, and that's a shame because I really do love it as a communication platform, but these new UI changes make it frankly painful to be on.
