    I think it boils down to: stop fixing things that aren't broken.

    The old "cozy" interface was fine (most of us had no complaints). Despite this, Discord still randomly decided to replace the "cozy" theme out of nowhere...

    I think this is the only person that explained the issues instead of "new layout bad change now."

    Great post outlining everything, OP.

    In regards to the "message highlighter", I think if reverted to when there are message blocks, as a option to toggle for those who would like to highlight a message in a varied shade of grey that would be serve most of us better.

    Agreed to the above comments stating: "If it ain't broke, don't fix it!"

    Very good points. I agree, and hope the Discord team will address all of the problems brought up in the incredibly constructively-critical feedback users are submitting.
