This really needs to be an optional setting like the Cozy and Compact UI settings, it is inferior in a lot of ways in terms of readability and accessibility and has feature bloat in the message-highlighting over hover and reaction tab.

  It's really bad - the new UI is uncomfortable, distracting, and quite bloaty. Noone needs that reaction hotbar, and noone needs that highlighting, whatever happened to right-clicking?
