Please revert the new UI

I know there's a HUGE amount of posts like this, but please, please revert the new UI.

 

I made my Discord account back in 2015 when there was only light theme, so I've been on Discord for a long time. I was already detesting the changes made to the friend list - namely, icon change, and the fact that I now have to click twice to open up the chats - and I really, really disliked that. 

 

However, now with the new chat update - the whole "line removed between messages, more space between messages and highlight message when hovering above it" sucks. It's making the chat look more congested, hard to differentiate between who is typing what in comfortable mode, the chat takes up too much space in between and the highlight function - while I like that it shows the time when the message was sent, it should NOT highlight the message and give me the menu for reactions. Personally hate it, and I do not want it at all. :( 

 

Please, is there ANY possibility to revert these changes? Or better yet, make it so that we can opt out of this and go back to "simpler mode" without these features, and the old friend/connections list?

    Those "quick emojis" are especially annoying. Let us disable it.
