Amidst UI changes, give us actual #IRC options

Compact is anything but compact. I love how you say #IRC when the whole benefit of IRC is the sheer amount of customization available.

Give us line spacing, give us feature toggles, give us font options, give us literally anything to help rectify every change your software dev's implement to keep their jobs relevant.

If you're going to ditch the line spacer, YOU HAVE TO INCLUDE A TIMESTAMP WITH EVERY MESSAGE. I shouldn't have to check 15 messages up just to see it was sent 16 hours ago all on the same minute. #IRC means I should be able to glance up at the previous message and know the time difference.

Options, options, options. For the love of god, give your users options and toggles. Especially with major changes that break readability for the vast majority of your userbase.
