Blocking feature.

Hello there,


Are you guys planning on improving the blocking feature any time soon?
I've seen infinite posts on people complaining about not being able to remove the "blocked message" message and today I've logged in into Discord and I've seen that you implemented a new look for the blocked messages that's even more annoying than before.


I'm honestly so sick of this that It sometimes forces me to leave communities that I like to be in, the only reason I buy Nitro every month is because I love being in all these communities and having cool emotes but most of the times there are some people that deserve to be banned or blocked and they don't get any of those, simply because blocking doesn't work and I can still see that they're typing in there an ruining my experience or conversation with other people that ARE replying them even if I don't.


So in conclusion I still need to click on "Show messages" to know how to respond to this other person that is not blocked, I'd rather not see any blocked messages at all and if I see anyone talking alone then I'd just leave them be there and it would be easier for me.


I'm pretty sure there are thousands of people that want this feature and I've seen that it's been years since people first started asking for it, it is such a trivial feature that it only requires one line of css.
And I've read the excuse about "not being able to remove the unread messages bar" but the thing is, and I'm sure that everyone thinks the same; it is way more comfortable to see the unread messages bar without seeing the blocked messages than seeing the blocked messages and getting annoyed every damn morning.
Hope you do something about it, so far you are indeed the best chatting software out there and It bothers me that you don't want to deliver such simple things to the community when its needed.

    Give us this feature NOW. Can't be that hard to actually implement an actual blocking of the message. Just make it hidden in CSS if you can't handle the asynchronous chat.

    I am more concerned with the fact that if I block someone, then they shouldn't be able to see anything I post...whatsoever!!! I feel stuck and can no longer post in a group that another person and I share....time to fix this!

    I blocked someone, but we're on the same server so they can still see what I do such as games and music. would be cool if they can't because I blocked them.

    Definitely agree. When I block someone, not only can’t I see any of their messages and no longer can ping them, it should be the same for them. They shouldn’t be able to ping and see any messages from me. That still makes them respond or attack. So, what’s the point. Blocking should be making the blocker feel safe from the person they blocked. It’s either a personal, safety, or mental health reason to block them.
