The new message hovering menu is bad

I hate the new ui for when you hover over a message, PLEASE revert it or make it optional... it hurts me inside to look at...

    I was going to post this separately, but it looks like this thread is more or less about the same thing. So here, another reason to revert:
    The message actions menu (to the right of the message that is below the mouse) can randomly be a bit of a hassle to quickly reach, since it's mostly outside the area the mouse must be over for the menu to stay on that message. I often hold Shift to delete several consecutive messages, but in order to do that without moving the mouse, I need to position it within a vertical area of maybe eight pixels.
