It's me, another UI complaint thread

Number who-knows-how-many, it's a really bad change in many ways. As a user of cozy mode, why is everything suddenly cluttered? This isn't cozy at all, it's claustrophobic. Another thing, why does the preview under Appearance show how it used to look?

Why does the entire message need to be highlighted when hovering over a message? The constant flashing while trying to read messages is infuriating. Speaking of infuriating, the horrible bar that now introduces 3/4 random emoji to react to messages, a feature I guarantee nobody asked for, just adds to the clutter you claim you got rid of. The fact that there's no more autoscroll for new messages and an obnoxious red line with "NEW" at the end of it, the line wasn't enough I guess? For who?

It's a terrible change and going "sowwy but change is scawwy" on the Twitter account and ignoring everything does nothing but frustrate users even more. I'm not gonna demand to get rid of it altogether, but even sites like Reddit provide an option to go back to the old design. Why is providing options for your userbase an issue you'd rather not deal with?
