    The solution I found was to click on the cog (settings), scroll down to Voice & Video, and change your output settings to speakers (mine was set to my video cards audio), and set it to your speakers.

    I managed to fix my same problem. For me, my Audio Output device was switched to the wrong device, despite not actually having multiple devices.

    In User Settings > under App Settings "Voice and Video" > top of the screen OUTPUT DEVICE. 

    See if you recognize the right one, or blind fire and see if you hit the right one. If none of them work, you have a different problem.

    This seems to be a settings conflict issue. Mine was the result of a browser plugin taking control, app.roll20.com.

    I was able to change the settings on the app to disable voice and reboot. All is well.
