New messages pulling my view down while trying to scroll up

When the new UI update came out, I found I didn't actually mind it that much outside of a few things.

My main issue was the fact that when Discord was out of focus, it wouldn't auto-scroll with new messages, which is annoying if you leave Discord open on a second monitor while playing games, and meant I had to keep alt tabbing to scroll a few messages.

The above issue looks to have been fixed as of yesterday, however I'm now noticing a new issue. While I'm actively navigating and scrolling through a channel, if a new message gets posted/edited, I'm often getting my view pulled down to the new message.

It as if to solve the first issue, you just forced discord to always lock onto new messages even if I'm actively scrolling up and trying to do stuff on previous messages.
