Answer our pleas, discord.
The first post regarding this, it is still in "pending approval" hell, most likely because I used curse words in it. I'm not going to do that when I make these posts from now on to avoid it.
The second post regarding this, I said on behalf of everyone to please revert the messaging back to the old format. That was all we would ask for.
With the amount of backlash that this change has caused, I just want to ask one question to the developers of this site to further
Why. haven't. you. responded. to. us. yet?
Not a single person from Discord's development team have stepped in any of these feedback posts to say a single thing about it. Not even a fake apology like "we're sorry you don't like this change, perhaps maybe you can send us feedback and we'll certainly ignore it because we don't take criticism very well"
You would think after literally pages and pages of non-stop complaints on forums, the site would actually do something about it, right? Well, the answer may unfortunately come up as "no" because l i t e r a l l y nothing has happened ever since this issue broke out. I still cannot edit, delete, quote, pin, etc. any of my messages because the " ... " DOES NOT EXIST ON THE VERSION I AM USING, and yet somehow I am literally THE ONLY PERSON ON THE ENTIRE PLANET WHO IS HAVING THIS ISSUE.
This is what appears at the right hand of my message tab, this means deleting posts is literally impossible to do. I've refreshed, I've tried restarting, I've tried canary, but absolutely n o t h i n g fixes it.
At this point, this service is starting to slowly dig it's grave. Why would developers of a chatroom service not listen to it's users after literally hundreds of them are complaining about a common issue?
From this day forward, I will not give this company a single PENNY until they start listening to their customers more, take the time to figure out what causes bugs like this to happen, and most of all;
let people beta test new ui changes. If the majority of people dislike the new design of the friend list page, then that should maybe be a clue that you shouldn't change what people are happy with.
I started using this service back in 2016, and up until April of 2019 the UI looked and felt just fine. Ever since the late April UI update, it's just been getting worse and worse.

Even some of the features they Have beta tested in the past and got shit feedback on they pushed through to public release, and then proceeded to ignore the complaints on the forums. It's very, very tiring at this point.
