Change the chat UI back.

We're all here for the same reason right now.

Hardly anybody wants, or likes this new, terrible UI design.

I don't use emoji. A large majority of discord uses it maybe once or twice a DAY.

I don't need you to highlight what message that my mouse is already over.

I can't imagine many people asked for this to change.

Don't change what works.

 

Give us the old UI back, and in all honesty, you should really start giving users the option to enter a beta of UI changes like these, that way you don't end up ruining everyone's experience.

 

I'll be using Steam for now, even their UI redesign isn't this bad.

  I could get used to everything but the mouse over change, dear god it's horrible to look at. 

  I don't want to scroll through chat like this, it's very uncomfy. Makes me want to click and drag the scroll bar instead, no thank you.

  I wish they would just leave stuff alone... I hate this new mouseover effect they got now

  Im starting to have a feeling the team won't listen to the heavy dislike of this update.
