your new UI made me temporarily blind

I have a neurological condition that makes it so when I see flashing images my vision is disrupted by large washes of color and I get a headache.

yesterday I launched discord and was going to scroll through it as normal, but because of the highlight function scrolling through discord at even just a reasonable speed causes flashing images. this made me blind for a good 15 minutes, and caused visual issues for several hours.

I now can't scroll through discord because of your UI changes, can't easily use the sidebar on messages, and even just using the app is honestly stressful because it's so easy to accidentally cause flashing images. I have no way to revert this, and I wasn't given a warning that this would happen.

the new version of the sidebar is also inconvenient in general, and the new formatting of text is not easy to read even after adjusting the spacing myself.

please let us change back to the old UI or at least turn off highlighting.

Or make a option for
0 = no highlighting
1 = dynamic highlighting(How it is now)
2 = every other line (highlighting but static so we still get highlighting but its not moving all over the place...)
