get f'd with your f'ing captchas. if i'm not a robot the first time, i will not have become a robot 10sec later when i try another password. and then 10 seconds later with another attempt, i'm still human.

 

same computer + same ip + same email = let me be and stop shoving captchas down my troat

or at least put the captcha on the same f'ing page as the login, so we dont have to go back and forth and back and forth

    I completely agree with you. One is bad enough but when you have 6 in a row on the Discord software - even if logged into the web version - with "choose all images", it really does piss me off. I hate Captchas to begin with, but sometimes they're necessary for security, but overkill them and it's very bad form and practice.

    And then to cap it all, the software provides this nice message if you "fail" too many times because either you overlook one or you get so ticked off you just quit the app and go do other things to cool off.

     

     

    REMOVE THE CAPTCHA FROM THE DISCORD SOFTWARE! It's superfluous and unnecessary! JFC!

    Maybe its abusers should be. I finally managed to log into the Discord server, but after 9 CAPTCHAS (yes, I counted). I use Captcha on my blogs for certain purposes, but it is NEVER abused in this fashion. And certainly NEVER on software!!

    The fun stops once it locks you out of your account when unable to solve a captcha.

    To some of them there is no correct solution, which means you have no other chance to fail and get locked out of your account.

     

    Discord? Are you being serious with us right now?

    And that epitomises why captcha has no place in software. I'd be absolutely furious (and and effed) if, as an Owner of a Discord server, if locked out without a hideous wait or process before trying again. This is where a two-step - even a three-step - verification process is better. Perhaps a generated code via the email associated with the Discord account, as many do, but NOT captcha.

    This is getting out of hand first i change my email then i end up forgetting the long in so i make a new one but then discord kick's me out for no reason so i make a new account again! And now it keeps asking if am a robot!

    Remove any malware from your computer.

    Since reCAPTCHA is owned by Google, Google prohibits using a computer that sends automated queries. But there was a reason for this - if you're attempting to self bot Discord, the CAPTCHA stops you from self botting
