Discord window briefly cuts to black when loading gifs and videos on PC with RX 5700 XT

Recently upgraded from a GTX 1060 6GB to an RX 5700 XT, and due to hardware defects I had to RMA the card and get a replacement twice. All three of the 5700 XT's suffered from this issue. Turning off hardware acceleration fixes the problem but makes Discord laggier, which I would rather not have. This never happened on the 1060 6GB, and only Discord has this issue; every other app I have can load gifs and videos fine.
