Strong dislike for the new chat UI

Feels more cluttered and less sophisticated, I hate how hovering over messages now highlights them and brings up a massive reaction bar, so many unnecessary features being shoved in your face that were just as accessible but less intrusive before.

    Definitely agree here, it is especially obnoxious when you're trying to read through a backlog due to the "highlight" part frequently covering the above message.
