Issues with Paragraph Grouping When Copy-Pasting

I usually write collaborative stories using Discord servers, which I then transfer into Google Docs. Without using a bot, the recent Discord update has made it impossible for me to transfer these stories to Docs from the browser, even if I copy one section at a time.

It doesn't keep paragraph breaks when I paste and keep the formatting, and if I don't, it gets rid of italics. (And then there are still the emoji images to delete afterwards, even on compact mode.)

The timestamps weren't as much of an issue, but now it seems to combine paragraphs depending on what time they were posted. This didn't happen before the update, so I would like to see about having an option to turn off the timestamp-grouping when pasting, at the very least.

(If there's a way I can get around this now, I would also appreciate knowing that as well.)
