Text selection is completely broken.

When selecting text via click-and-drag by the mouse for the last few updates, it more often than not just does not work properly, if at all. Makes it incredibly difficult to copy/paste or quote people. I've attached a link that shows this in action.

  I think the new update might have broken a lot of different stuff on different systems.
