Unsent message dimming
I know in today's day, most people have at least decent internet, but for the few of us that do not, please for the love of god, give us back the dimmed messages until they are sent. It is the most frustrating thing I have ever experienced from any chat platform ever.
In fact, you could even remove showing the message entirely until it has been received by the server like IRC does. But just flat out making the user think it went through with only the most annoying possible detection methods of determining receipt is a cruel and unusual punishment that will eventually be the reason I quit discord if not reverted.
I cannot even begin to express the number of times I have sent messages, thought they were sent, switched channels, then switching back when the new message dot appears only to find that my messages didn't in fact send and wanted to pull my hair out over it.
For those of you who are not familiar with the detection methods referred to above, you can either hover over the message to see if the new reaction bar appears or press up to edit your most recent message. If the reaction bar doesn't appear or you are sent to a previous message to edit, it has yet to go through.
During my composition of this post, someone has informed me that it only does not dim in compact mode. Now I'm furious. Quite literally furious.
Sorry if this is a duplicate, but I couldn't find anything that was just this. Idc about anything else added, this one is the kicker for me.
