The image would change the change the associated image that channels have when an invite is shared:
It would not be required to have a picture for categories
I've typed 256x256 on my edited screenshot, but it would logically have to be smaller ( I suppose, what do i really know )

I know this is a rather old post and if there is something newer please feel free to point me in that direction. However, I believe this would be a great idea for those Discord communities that split topics and groups into different sections.
Example being gaming communities that cover different games and want to split players into different content roles so as not to mix up the text and voice chats. Same thing could be said for streamers, movie buffs, businesses, etc. Instead of reading through a bunch categories we could use visual queues to recognize what we're looking for faster than reading through a possibly massive list.
If this idea does happen it would be great to keep this particular feature off of nitro but add gif or size expansions to nitro so as to give people a taste and still have nitro be an incentivized upgrade option.
