stereo positioning in voice

Still not sure what the resistance is for stereo audio support, but in the mean time I'd like the ability to move different users in a voice channel around my headphones similar to what teamtalk/teamspeak has. This could come in the form of a slider next to the user's volume slider that would shift their audio out of the middle and wherever was most comfortable. When 10+ people are in a voice channel, it can sometimes be difficult to tell who's talking or hear who you're trying to hear over the combined noise.
