Inspired by my desire to use :yikes: for :grimace: but here's some more ideas -
:evil: for :imp: and :evil-grin: for :smiling-imp:

    There are quite a few resources available that give aliases to emojis. This sounds like it would take an engineer ~a day or two (2 story point for you sprint managers) to search and implement. Aliasing has quite a large quality of life improvement when it comes to text chatting. Measuring impact would be done by marking telemetry on how many "standard deck" emojis (non-server ones) are sent vs how many total messages are sent.

    I would like to add to this. Multiple of the crying emojis such as :sob: or :joy: don't show up when you search for 'cry'. Many laughing or smiling emojis, same thing. It's really difficult to find the ones you're looking for and you have to scroll through the whole list, when searching should be much easier. Adding more aliases for these like the numerous aliases for some of the hand signs should allow just this, and it's not a difficult thing to do at all.
