Discord overlay broken in Payday 2

After opening the overlay, my keyboard stopped working in the game. I had to restart the whole game.

There was another post made a year ago talking about literally the same thing, but the only response from the Discord team was a simple "We'll look into it". And well, here we go again, am I right?

I've lost all the money I spent with preplanning and ended up getting preeeetty frustrated. I am so sorry for being rude, but F*** YOUR OVERLAY!

    To be fair, Payday 2 is a broken, buggy mess on the best of times. Not sure how early on you are that money spent in preplanning is... well, any impact at all, i guess. :p

     

    But yeah don't expect anything from the discord devs or T&S unless its to cover their own asses. They no longer care, if they ever did at all.

    Payday 2 still messes with Discord. I can quit Steam entirely and Discord still shows me as in-game.  It's not the local detection of the game exe running, it's the broadcasted status to friends that still shows I'm in game.
