Bring League of Legends back to Connection???

So I know there is a lot of people upset over the League of legends connection being gone but Riot is also adding new games under their name. I was curious to see people's thoughts on instead of doing a league of legends connection do a Riot account connection. It would be similar to the steam style of connection where you can see their steam account and also see what direct game they are playing through steam. What's the communities thought and what's the Discord staff's thought????

i do also know that Riot changed the op.gg MMR thing so riot may just have told discord nah we dont want people to link their accounts to discord anymore. whats people's thoughts????
