resetting setting and fav gifs when log out

this is s annoying if i have to log out one day and when i re log in all my setting are back to default it's annoying and i want to talk to friends an not have 100+ message notification going off during it all because got rest please fix this or try to alternative like an options to have it reset when log out please.

and can we please just keep our Favorite Gif because i did have 20-30 of them and now they are gone never to be found or be fav for long
