Hiding inactive group DM’s

I would like to be able to hide/close group DM messages in the same way you can with one on one messages.
I don’t want to spam others by leaving, but if it could be hidden until there is a message, That would be ideal.

X should hide, not leave.

Add a separate leave option in the chat settings.
