3.2.0: Appearance: Automatic doesn't work on iOS

I saw the patch notes for Discord 3.2.0 for iOS and saw how it can track the system appearance settings.

I changed my iPad and iPhone's appearance settings to "Automatic (follows iOS settings)" and also disabled cross-client appearance sync.

However, when I change the system mode from light to dark and back again in Control Center (swipe down from top right), Discord doesn't change away from light mode, even though other apps do.

I'm running iOS/iPadOS 13.3.1 on both my devices.

    Make sure you fully exit the app (swipe it out) or it won’t recognize the change in settings.

    I tried this and it works as described…once. If I want to change back and forth between light mode and dark mode I need to force-quit the app again and again.

    My expectation is that Discord — like every other iOS app that automatically responds to light/dark-mode toggles — automatically change when the system does, without restarting the app.
