[Suggestion] Stop DM conversations from snapping the scroll bar

I'd like to suggest that the DM scroll bar be changed so that it does not snap the selected conversation to the top of the scroll bar. If I'm trying to manage multiple conversations it's quite annoying to click on any dm conversation that isn't the "most recent" and have my scroll view immediately snapped so that the dm conversation I click on goes to the top.

For example if my conversations bar is

and I click on conversation 3

my conversations bar then becomes

3
4

and 1 and 2 are bumped out of view. This is extremely annoying because it makes me have to then scroll back up to hop between conversations and I would love for there to just be a toggle to not focus/snap the scroll bar for dms.

    This is a place for suggestion, not a forum. you don't need suggestion in the title because all posts here should be suggestions and not reports or other shit

    You may want to head over to the bug-reporting server or something instead. Unless this is on mobile or in the browser app. I wouldn't know about those. But it doesn't do that for me in my desktop app, so you may just be experiencing a weird bug.

    It it is purposefully doing that in one of those two places, then I think that's a thing that should just universally not happen, rather than being a toggle. It sounds like a useless and obnoxious thing that I would never want, and I can't think of any practical use for it, given you'll always just scroll to see whatever DM you're looking for, anyway, so it'll be on-screen regardless of the weird snapping thing you're experiencing.
