Sound gets amplified

Whenever I get in a call with my friends, after I or my friends disconnect and reconnect to a channel or a call, my friends' voices get amplified a lot. I can only fix this issue by closing and relaunching discord via Task Manager. Any help?

  Haivng a similar issue. It's a coin flip on whether or not my audio levels are normal when joining a call on a server or if I get my eardrums blown out. Leaving and rejoining works occasionally, but not every time. Closing discord entirely and reloading entirely has also led to no help more times than it has fixed it. Only started doing this recently.

  I would like to add i have this issue too, in my case i have Spatial Sound (Dolby Atmos for headhpones) enabled,

  In my case, I use Razer Kraken 7.1 headset.

  Also, it appears to be that ONLY other users' voices get amplified, every other discord sound is normal

  Razer Kraken 7.1 aswell,  seems to be the common denominator.

  been using another headset these past couple of days and the problem is gone
