if Discord (Mac) is not the foremost window, you can't act on window buttons
EDIT: This is now fixed! After two years. it's fixed now!
if the Discord app (mac) is not the foremost (active) window the close, minimize, fullscreen buttons don't work. you need to have the window as active for them to work. Please fix.

Yeah, and sadly I don't think there's a fix coming up any time soon...

OMG yes, this is infuriating
Can say that again, it's beyond ridiculous that they managed to completely break a fundamental part of window interaction. I suspect it's because those controls are fake, not really part of the window chrome and instead are part of the (Electron most likely) app.

Yes, incredibly annoying.
I always click the button 3, 4 times wondering why it's not working before I remember that I have to activate the window first...
