I really enjoy the update to allow quicker reactions by hovering over a chat message (on desktop), but why remove the "add reaction" button? If I'm leaving the first reaction on a message, it's annoying to have to right click and scroll through a second menu just to open the emoji menu to add a reaction

  Actually! There is a button for that. Every message should show you five icons on hover. The first three are emojis. The fourth is an Emoji Menu pop-up button that looks like a little smiley face with a plus. The fifth is an ellipses (three dots in a row), which triggers additional options. Clicking the smiley face with a plus opens the Emoji Menu that lets you select any emoji to react with, exactly the same as you could before.

  Nope, I used to have the five icons when I hovered over a message, now it's just one most recent emoji and no option to quickly open the menu
