"Read More" for messages over character limit

If possible can you add a "Read More" option for messages over character limit. This would be easy for me and possibly others when posting long change logs for a game. If not, could this be a feature limited to server owners only.

  I doubt this will ever be an option, unfortunately. You could contain the change log within a website, like post it up on tumblr or something. Then the "Read More" option would be opening the link.

  But the reason it's limited to roughly 2000 characters is a storage limitation. That's roughly two bytes of text data, and asking Discord to store more per message just so you can post your long change logs isn't particularly efficient for them. I think about two bytes is a pretty good amount for most messages, and few people need any more than that.

  This isn't to say it's a bad suggestion, of course, and I can see why you would want it-- I just think the use case is so limited that it wouldn't be terribly practical to implement and would result in them needing to store more data. So the easier solution is to just find a different place to put up the large quantities of text, and people can open the link if they want to read it all.

  Even with the character limit in mind, having a Read More would be great to write stuff, but not have to see it constantly while scrolling through messages!
