Prevent blocked users from seeing you

I'm not sure which feedback section this belongs to, but here goes:

I've needed to block a few users over the years, as I'm sure many people have, and I'd like to make a few suggestions regarding what happens when you block someone.

A person who I had blocked over a year ago has been sending me new friend requests under different profiles, which I have promptly declined every time. However, they messaged me on another social media platform under a different name, claiming that they knew I was declining their requests because they could see whenever I changed my profile picture. I feel that users who you've blocked should not be able to see your profile pic, either replace it with the default Discord logo you see when you have no pfp, or replace it with solid black or grey or whatever is deemed appropriate. I don't like to know that I'm still being watched even after blocking someone. I want to feel safe without having that feeling of suspicion constantly hanging over my head.

Another thing that I think should be done; I feel like they should not be able to see your messages after you block them, only their own messages (the same as what you see on your own end when you block someone). It just seems like a more secure and private way to keep someone you want away from you away for good, because who knows what they could be doing with your message history?

Often times we block people because they make uncomfortable advancements towards us, bully us, harass us, whatever the case may be, so please think about these suggestions to make Discord a safer platform for everybody.

    I agree with this, I've had my own fair share of people do the same thing, and it feels like a privacy issue.

    I agree with this too! I was arguing with toxic people and I blocked them, they keep on finding me and I think it's because they can still see my username and ID. I need some privacy, please do this Discord!

    I am currently going through this, it is very unpleasant to receive requests of the type that describe your photo in detail or know everything you do on some server

    There is this creep who, sadly, is following the rules, but annoys the crap out of me.  I've blocked him but he can still see the selfies I post on the server we both are on.   Many of my friends also have this problem.  It would be really helpful and save me from that stress.  Thank you!
