on desktop version of discord i turn it on it try's to update than can't so the screen just comes up black and i cant get on to it

i try to install discord over again and the updater comes up and at first it was trying to update and than it stopped just before the update finished and than a black screen came up i googled it and i was told by the you tube to get run going and put in %localappdata% so i did and i went in to discord folder and changed name of updater to updater1 and i still got nothing it will not update it just comes up now black for a minute than the discord screen comes on and is all black i need help on getting it to update again now i switched computers and the same thing happened to the new computer i load discord and it wont take the updates just the black screen comes up i clean discord completely off get rid of anything left go in to task manager and get rid of anything that has discord in there but every time i go in there is nothing about discord in there so i reinstall a new download of discord and the same thing i have been working at it for three days now and i still cant get a copy to install and take the updates

Better compatibility with the browser version (no download/in-browser) for all browsers currently in use would be the more likely approach to eliminating issues / increasing features on any platform while minimizing coding needed. Right now, on the Xbox (Xbox Edge Browser), the in-browser client fails to load the website properly. This causes the website to just spin the loading icon forever... Wished this would get fixed. UWP would the BEST way to include it on Xbox - While we are talking about compatibility and inclusion to Discord across platforms.
