Increase the limit of pinned messages

plz increase limit, me and my friend on discord have some amazing pins and unfortunately it has come to an end because of the 50 pin limit plz increase

    I think 50 pins is a pretty generous limit. I'm sorry you've been unable to pin everything you want to, but pins aren't meant to be "This is a great message that I love". They're meant to be notifications or important rules or something that people may need to see.

    I do have a recommendation for a sort of compromise, however. If you enable developer mode on Discord, you can grab links to specific messages, and clicking that link will result in you being automatically moved to the specific message. Maybe you could have a channel for Excellent Messages where you post links to the specific messages, or maybe you could pin some messages containing the links, and edit in the new links when you start getting too many pins again, so the messages with the links are ever-expanding. (Until they reach the character limit, of course.)

    It isn't a perfect solution by any means, but hopefully that would help.

    I agree with the whole "they're meant to be notifications or important rules and 50 pins is enough" but that's for servers. Maybe the pin limit on servers should remain 50 but however I still think that they should increase the limit for pins in DMs because I think most people use the pins in DMs to pin funny stuff and stupid crap (at least I do) 

    But thanks for giving a solution I appreciate it.
