Notification idea

Whenever someone replies to something on one of my Discords I'm invited to, I hear the notification sound, but I have to search through each Discord to find out what channel it was posted in.

With something like Facebook, you get a red bubble that says you have say, 8 new notifications and here's where they can be found. Is there a way to do this on Discord? Where every time someone posts something new in the channel that I haven't read yet, it will put a red bubble with the number of new replies under the text channel "general" or whatever.

So far, I've only seen it show new replies since I last visited the channel, but not like the above.

    It does that for pings, but sadly not individual messages. My solution is to just mute all my servers and check them, but that doesn't work great for everyone. The white dot on the side is supposed to help with that, but it doesn't exactly. Just a bit.
