Profile Information
Hello Discord community and devs,
I've recently taken on some new job responsibilities that require me to use Discord as the primary method of communication (in lieu of Slack or Google Chat). I am fairly new to using Discord, and overall I like the interface and experience.
However.
I have no. damn. clue. who I am talking to at any given time. Nor can I find any sort of profile blurb. The only information on the profile is server info and shared friends - there's nothing that the other user can even make public. It's up to meet to make notes on usernames of others, which, especially when joining a group server full of strangers that I need to coordinate with, is entirely unsustainable.
Am I missing the location of some feature? If we're going to use Discord as the primary communication tool for a professional setting, I really need a quick way to see a name and description of a user, if they choose to make that information public. It's a huge hinderance to getting any work done on the platform.
Any suggestions?
