The new quote feature is good, but @s included in the quoted message seem to ping the recipient again. So in the following conversation:

1: Did you know you can quote messages now?

2: |Did you know you can quote messages now?
@1 I did not

3: |@1 I did not
@2 Well you can.

3's message pings both 1 and 2, when it's only 2 who is being replied to. This could get irritating, especially in conversations involving lots of people. I suggest disabling the @ function when it's within a quote.
