"Phantom Pings"

I keep getting pings directed at me within one specific channel, despite no textposts being made, and I have no idea why. Nobody else gets these pings, but they do get the "new messages" from said channel. Audit log says nobody is deleting messages (everyone has most rights on that server but I'm the absolute admin). 


Where are these pings coming from, why are they invisible yet act as a normal post, and how do I get rid of them?

    I've figured it out- one of my friends was being a bit of a prankster and exploited an oversight. It's all good now
