Discord in Education

As we teachers know Skype made a platform for schools and students. Skype in Education. If you check it you can see the purpose but it doesnt really have the quality as Discord does. That's why I would like to ask your opinion about Discord being in Education for live lesson.

  I would dearly love the ability to use Live for showing students my screen so I may open and bring up files while I talk.

  Hi, 

  and greetings from Finland where most of the schools are applying distance education because of the corona virus.

  Yesterday, on Monday, I asked my students how and what platform to use for chatting and we decided to go with a triplet of

  Google Classroom for assigments. As we have done so far.

  Google Meets for broadcasting to a larger group. Simulates the part of lesson when I keep a lecture and show demonstrations.

  Discord for the chatting between students. I love the ability for them to divide into smaller groups and talk to them selves.
